Painting for me is open to all fictions and possibilities. A place where discordant images exist and complement each other, where ambiguity is the preferred context, where the hybrid is more interesting than the pure, where images transform and references combine suggesting a world where nothing is fixed and everything is in the process of becoming. My paintings are about that 'in between' space where opposing forces merge creating a new narrative that is at once organic and mechanical, graphic and painterly, creating a whole that is based on the inclusion of divergent ways thinking.

These works reference nature, the cosmos, and private conflicts as metaphorical landscapes of the mind that explore a wordless, non-objective reality that is both physical and real.
